| Tha Ton is a village in Mae Ai District where the Kok River flows to Chiang Rai town. The lifestyle of the locals living along the river as well as hill tribal villages can be seen during the river trip. Long -tail boat departs Tha Ton daily at 12.30 Hrs., reaching Chiang Rai around 16.00 Hrs. The fee is 200 Baht per person. A service is around 1600 Baht. Traveling by bamboo raft takes 3 days.
