Getting around Mae Hong Son:

Saung Taews or buses

“Saung Taews” , the Yellow minibuses are the main transportation method. The minimum fare is 10 Baht a person. This is the main FLAT fare. But there is a lot to say about the bath buses and her drivers. The main issue is that there are no official rate cards, and no official routing maps. Make sure before jumping in to agree a rate with the driver.
